So for Opening Day we spoiled ourselves and got seats 9 rows back and right behind homeplate. This gave Kenz a good view of Slider and the hotdog condiments and all the dancing and entertaining that Progressive Field had to offer. Despite a short nap and being contained in the car for most of the day, she was such a good Tribe fan. The men behind us loved her and kept saying "what a trooper" she was, even though the game went into extra innings, and we lost the sun! Her only breakdown was when her buddy Slider tackled the ketchup bottle in the hotdog derby. Poor thing never saw it coming.
Look at how much our little baby girl has changed -- don't worry there are more to come.
Friday started out with an early morning swim. Can't say she loved it, but she seemed to tolerate sitting on the steps just fine.
We then headed off to the Cleveland Children's Museum. This was a little big for our little lady, but we had a good time anyway.
We played house...
And we did some grocery shopping...
And we played in a giant room of sand. Mackenzie was not a huge fan of this room, but she started to warm up to it.
And why not a little photoshoot...I love this little smile.
And we finished the day with a trip to the mall and ice cream! We realized we could've saved the $21 bucks we spent at the museum, and gone to the pet store at the mall...FOR FREE!
To end our mini vacation we headed back to the ballpark for Game #2. Once again Kenzie stole the heart of all the Tribe fans around us. She missed her nap completely but was such a good girl! She loved clapping to the music and stuffing her face with all-you-can-eat food!
Although it makes me a little sad to see how big Mackenize is getting, I'm loving the little lady she is turning into. I love this little family of mine!
Oh Erin ~~ what a sweet little girl you have!
