11 Months!

Our little lady is creeping closer and closer and closer to her 1 year birthday!  This past year, has been the fastest year of my life, but it has also been the absolute best!  Kenzie has brought so much love and laughter to our family....even to perfect strangers.  Eating at restaurants, grocery shopping, and waiting in check out lines, we always get friendly strangers smiling and waving at her!  She flashes that 2-teeth smile (yes still only 2 teeth) and the occasional backwards wave, and I like to think she brings a little joy to everyone's life.

Holiday Festivus

And we are back...  We've been so busy these days, but even with the holidays approaching, I hope that things get a little relaxing around here.   I think there is one person on our Christmas buy-for list, that is crossed off, and its not Kenzie!!  Shopping is a little trickier these days with Kenzie.  The mall is one thing, but getting her in and out of car, running around in rain/slush to a bunch of different stores, is not ideal.  Yes Kenzie is a completely resilient babe, even when she is off her schedule, but she is MUCH happier when she gets her 2 naps and is asleep by 7:00.

We did get our Christmas decorations and tree up earlier than usual.  Kenzie doesn't seem too drawn to it, although she does like to bat at the ornaments if she gets close enough!

10 months old!

Kenzie's 1st Thanksgiving

Have you missed us?  I don't know where the time has gone, but I've been horrible about blogging lately.  Let's see...what is new with us?
Over the past few months, Kenzie is really getting into everything.  If we had an extension cord, working cell phone, and remote control, she'd be content!  One of her favorite games is "chase me" although she gives up very easily, which ends with a lot of tickling and giggling!  She is also big fan of climbing over things, onto things, and scaling the furniture.  We also unexpectedly found out how good she is at climbing stairs.  She is easily up the first set, when we think we are able to run upstairs "really quick." Other than that, I don't think she is in any hurry to walk.  The second you grab her hands to assist in walking, she sits right down!
I'd like to say that Kenzie is an awesome eater these days, but she's all over the place, when it comes to chow time!  At daycare she gives the ladies no trouble.  She's the same way when we go out to eat.  She even makes time between all of the waving she does to strangers, to eat and eat and eat.  But when she is at home, sadly, I think Fausto eats more of the food than her.
Mackenzie is also so good at her sign language.  It is so sweet to see her do it and rather rewarding!  She can now sign *eat*, *more*, *water*, *milk*, *all done*, *doggy*, and is so close at getting *da-da*!  She says da-da all day long, with a couple of ma-mas in there, and a lot of other babbles!
She also loves bathtime, dancing, anything that plays music, and reading her books.  She is not a fan of belly-buttons (I know, weird - hopefully she doesn't realize she has one of her own) and car washes.

We also just celebrated Kenzie's first Thanksgiving.  We are so so grateful and thankful to have this itty bitty person that fills our life with so much love and laughter!  She is a healthy, smart, and such a sweet baby girl.  She brings so much joy to our lives, our families, and even perfect strangers, with her smile and wave!

Fall fun at Becker Farms

A few weeks ago, we headed out to Becker Farms just as we did about a year ago.  It was a beautiful fall day, for some photo opps as well!  Kenzie LOVED the animals, and also like the apple picking and snacking.
